If a server load/Internet connection hiccup occurs you can be bounced from installing the world.

If you redeem the code through The Sims 3 website, you can still run through the installer to install the world via the disc or check your Account History to download the world through the Sims 3 website.

You will not need to use the Hidden Springs game disc to play the game and will need to continue to use the previous disc that you used to play the game.

Hidden Springs is now in the list of selectable towns when creating a new game.

Once the installation is complete, close the window and launch the game.

A smaller window will pop up with an installation progress bar.

Hidden Springs will download in the downloads tab of your launcher, when it is finished, check the check box on the left of the item and press the install button.

(This will be the most recently added item.) If prompted to select a program to open the link, browse to, and select the Sims 3 launcher.

Click the download button under the Hidden Springs image. This opens your purchase history on the Sims 3 website.You will get a confirmation screen telling you the code was successfully redeemed.Once logged in, the Launcher Code Redemption screen will appear within The Sims 3 Launcher.The Sims 3 Launcher will prompt you to log-in to your existing community account, or to create a new account.The Sims 3 Launcher will launch automatically.Go through install prompts which will update Sims 3, if needed.

Insert the Hidden Springs disc into your PC.

If you have the retail product (disc), follow these steps: The link to download the world will be available.

Upon success, go to the Purchase History.

Select the Redeem Code button and enter the serial key that came with the product.

Go to the Hidden Springs world page on The Sims 3 Store: (The 'S' must be capitalized).

Log-in to your account or sign up for a new account if you do not have one yet.
